 WATCH A NEST HATCH!
Hatching.gif

Hatchlings emerge from nest in what is known as the ``frenzy".

First a depression begins to appear on top of the nest site, as the hatchlings upward movement from the egg clutch causes sand to sift downward. Hatchling burst forth, and can evacuate the nest in as quickly as two minutes. The hatchlings will make their way toward the brightest horizon. On a natural dark beach, this would be the starlit or moonlit horizon over the sea.
